Thank you so much for your patience while this process has come together and more importantly for volunteering for this crucial work in the Diocese of Mississippi. The needs there are still great.

The process has 3 parts: the application, the authorization to conduct a background check and the volunteer statement.

The application should be completed on-line and submitted electronically. Since signatures are required for the other two documents -- the background check authorization and the volunteer statement -- you may print out the form and statement, fill them out, then sign them and fax them to us at (212) 867-1654. You should also print a copy of the application for your records.

It is important that you notify your local Episcopal bishop’s office of this intent.

You will hear back from the Diocese of Mississippi on scheduling.
